Account Deletion
Learners have the ability to delete their academy accounts directly from within the learning platform. Once an account is deleted, all associated records — including learning history, progress, test results, certifications, and user data — are permanently erased and cannot be recovered.
Creating a new account using the same email address will result in a completely new profile, with no restoration of previous data.
We encourage learners to download or store any important records before initiating account deletion, as The ALTAR does not retain or back up this data outside the platform.
Support for Account Issues
For any concerns regarding account access, deletion, or data retention, you may write to us at support@thealtarmediaacademy.com. While we’ll do our best to assist, please understand that account-level actions triggered by you or enforced by the platform may be irreversible.
Data Retention and Storage
Data is retained as long as necessary to fulfill educational, legal, and operational needs.
Course history and user data are stored within platforms such as Zoho Trainer Central and Zoho Books.
Financial records are retained in compliance with applicable regulations.
Data is primarily hosted on servers located in India, with potential processing through other jurisdictions based on the tools we use
We do not currently offer automatic deletion of user data but may honor deletion requests based on platform capabilities and applicable legal requirements.
